• On which days will the graduation ceremonies take place?

Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July 2026.

• Where will the graduation ceremonies take place?

At the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia

• What requirements must I meet to attend the graduation ceremonies?

o    Be enrolled on a degree programme worth more than 60 ECTS

o    Have all required credits registered

o    In the case of double degrees, have completed both.

o    Be up to date with university fees.

• How far in advance should I arrive at the venue?

We will open the doors one hour before the start of each ceremony. Please be punctual.

• Are these venues accessible for people with reduced mobility and/or pushchairs?

Yes.

• Do I need to be registered to attend the event?

Yes.

• How will the registration process work?

Once registration opens, we will inform you via the usual channels.

• Do children and babies count as guests?

Yes, just children under 2 years old do not need ticket.

• Can I bring more guests than the specified number?

No, capacity restrictions mean we cannot increase the number of invitations.

• I’m not yet sure who will be able to accompany me. Can I confirm the number of attendees later?

Each registered student is allocated a set number of guests. You will need to confirm the number of people accompanying you. We will send you the tickets in QR code format before the event.

The QR code on each ticket is single-use; in other words, it will be scanned at the entrance and will be deactivated from that moment onwards.

• Do accompanying guests need to be registered?

No. Each registered student will receive tickets with a QR code, which will be sent out before the event.

• What are the scheduled dates for registration and confirmation of attendance?

A few weeks before the event, once the dates have been published, we will send you the details via the usual channels.

• Where and when can I collect my tickets?

The tickets are digital; a few days before the event, you will receive the tickets (yours and those of your guests) at the email address you have registered. They will feature a single-use QR code, which will be scanned at the entrance to the venue.

• How long will the graduation ceremony last?

Approximately 1 hour.

• What language will the graduation ceremonies be held in?

In Spanish, although supporting materials will be available in English.

• What is the dress code?

For graduates: a dark suit for men and cocktail dress for women.

• How many people will attend each ceremony?

Approximately 1,200 people.

• What happens if I don’t confirm my attendance but turn up anyway?

We recommend that, if you wish to attend, you register on the platform by the specified dates. If you turn up on the day of the event without having registered in advance, you will only be able to enter the venue if it is not at full capacity because a confirmed guest has not attended. This scenario is highly unlikely.

• Where can I view the photos from the graduation events?

After the graduation ceremony, we will publish the photos and send you a link so that you can view and download them.

• I can’t attend the graduation ceremony because I’m not in Spain. Can I watch it via live stream?

There will be no live stream, but you will be able to watch the full ceremony on video afterwards.

• I can’t attend the graduation ceremony. Can I apply for the sash?

No, sashes are only awarded on the day of the graduation ceremony.

• Who should I contact to take part in the group photo?

The university does not organise group photos; these are organised by the students themselves.

• How many guests can I bring to the ceremony?

You may bring 3 guests if you are studying for a Bachelor’s degree or a Higher Level Vocational Training qualification, and 2 guests if you are studying for a postgraduate degree. If you are studying an online degree, you may bring 2 guests.

• Can I attend the graduation ceremony if I have modules pending in the resit period?

Yes, the requirement for attending the ceremony is to be enrolled in all the credits for your degree programme

• I live abroad. Can the University process my visa application?

The University cannot process visa applications, but we can prepare a letter of invitation for you so that you can apply for one. 

• I live abroad. Can the University send me a letter of invitation to help me apply for my visa?

• I need invitation letters for my accompanying family members so they can apply for travel visas. How do I request them?

• I cannot attend this year’s graduation ceremony. Will I be able to attend next year’s ceremonies?

No, for organisational reasons, graduates from other years are not permitted to attend graduation ceremonies.
