• When will the graduation ceremonies take place?

On 21 June 2026.

• Which degree programmes will be graduating?

The online and semi-online programmes offered by Universidad Europea de Madrid and the Universidad Europea de Canarias will hold their graduation ceremonies at the Villaviciosa de Odón campus in Madrid.

The semi-online programmes (Master’s in General Health Psychology and Master’s in Teacher Training) from the Universidad Europea de Valencia will hold their graduation ceremony in Valencia.

• How do I know which day my graduation ceremony will take place?

You will find details of the date and time of your graduation ceremony when you register on the platform, which is not yet open. We will also send them to you in your registration confirmation email.

• Where will the graduation ceremonies take place?

• What requirements must I meet to attend the graduation ceremonies?

–    Be enrolled on a degree programme of more than 90 ECTS credits

–    Have all required credits registered

–    In the case of double degrees, have completed both

–    Be up to date with all university fees.

• Are these venues accessible for people with reduced mobility and/or wheelchairs?

Yes, and you can also indicate this when you register

• I live abroad. Can the University process my visa?

The University cannot process visa applications, but we can provide you with a letter of invitation so that you can apply for one.

• I need an invitation letter for my accompanying family members so they can apply for a travel visa. How do I request this?

• Do I need to be registered to attend the event?

Yes.

• How will the registration process work?

Once registration opens, we will inform you via the usual channels.

• Do children and babies count as accompanying guests?

Yes, due to capacity restrictions.

• Can I bring more guests than the limit allows?

No, capacity restrictions do not allow us to increase the number of invitations.

• Do guests need to provide identification?

No. Each registered student will receive tickets with a QR code.

The QR code on each ticket is single-use; that is, it will be scanned at the entrance and will be invalid from that moment onwards.

• I am a student and cannot attend my graduation ceremony. Can I register and transfer my guest tickets to a fellow student?

No. The student and their guests must enter the venue together. Guests will not be admitted without the student being present.

• What are the scheduled dates for registration and confirmation of attendance (students, alumni and their guests)?

Once the dates have been published, we will send them to you via the usual channels.

• Where and when can I collect the tickets?

Yoir ticket is digital; a few days before the event, you will receive the tickets at the email address you have registered. They will feature a single-use QR code, which will be scanned at the venue entrance.

• How long will the graduation ceremony last?

Approximately 1 hour.

• In which language will the graduation ceremonies be held?

In Spanish, although there will be supporting materials in English.

• What is the dress code?

For graduates: dark suits for men and cocktail dresses for women. Please remember that, given the dates of the celebrations, and although we will have shaded areas available, it is very likely to be quite hot.

• How many people will attend each ceremony?

Between 800 and 1,100 people

• What happens if I don’t confirm my attendance but turn up anyway?

We recommend that, if you wish to attend, you register on the platform by the specified dates. If you turn up on the day of the event without having registered in advance, you will only be able to enter the venue if there is still space available because a confirmed guest has not turned up. This scenario is highly unlikely.

• Where can I view the photos from the graduation events?

After the graduation ceremony, we will publish the photos and send you a link so you can view and download them.

• I cannot attend the graduation ceremony as I am not in Spain. Can I watch it via live stream?

You can watch the ceremonies live via the University’s YouTube channel at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/@UnivEuropea

• I can’t attend the graduation ceremony; can I apply for the cap and gown?

No, caps and gowns are only handed out on the day of the graduation ceremony.

• Who should I contact to take part in the group photo/photography session?

The University does not organise group photos; instead, the students organise them themselves.

• How many guests can I bring to the ceremony?

You may attend with 2 guests

• Can I attend the graduation ceremony if I have subjects pending from the resit period?

Yes, the requirement to attend the ceremony is to have all the credits for your degree programme registered

• I can’t attend this year’s graduation ceremony. Will I be able to attend next year’s ceremonies?

No, for organisational reasons, graduates from previous years are not permitted to attend graduation ceremonies.
