FAQs – Real Madrid Graduation Ceremonies

• When will the graduation ceremony take place?

On Tuesday 30 June 2026.

• Where will the graduation ceremony take place?

At the Bernabéu Stadium (Av. de Concha Espina, 1, Chamartín, 28036 Madrid).

• What time?

The ceremony will begin at 7.00 pm. Doors will open an hour and a half earlier, at 5.30 pm. No one will be admitted after 7.00 pm.

• Are these venues accessible for people with reduced mobility and/or pushchairs?

You must give advance notice when registering.

• Do I need to be registered to attend the event?

Yes. 

• What is the registration process?

After completing the form, you will receive a registration confirmation message.

A few days before the event, you will receive your ticket via email in QR format, which you will need to access the venue where the ceremony will be held. This same email will also contain the tickets for your guests.

Please keep an eye on your email to stay up to date with any notifications.

• How many guests can I bring?

You may be accompanied by three people.

• Do children and babies count as guests?

Yes 

• Can I be accompanied by more than 3 people?

No, capacity restrictions do not allow us to increase the number of invitations.

• I’m not yet sure if they’ll be able to come with me. Can I confirm the number of guests later?

Each registered student is allocated 3 guests. You will need to confirm the number of people accompanying you. We will send you these tickets in QR format before the event.

The QR code on each ticket is single-use; in other words, it will be scanned at the entrance and will be rendered invalid from that moment onwards.

• What are the scheduled dates for registration and confirmation of attendance (students and their guests)?

This information will be provided via the usual channels.

• Where and when can I collect the tickets?

A few days before the event, you will receive the tickets (yours and those of your guests) at the email address you have registered. They will have a single-use QR code, which will be scanned at the entrance to the venue.

• What will the format of the event be?

It will consist of an academic ceremony to award scholarships to the students.

• How long will the event last?

The academic ceremony will last approximately 2 hours.

• In which language will the event be held?

In Spanish, although videos and supporting materials will also be in English.

• What is the dress code?

This is a formal academic event, so the expected dress code is a dark suit for men and evening wear for women. Please bear in mind that, given the time of year, it is very likely to be warm.

• How many people will be attending the event?

Approximately 4,000 people.

• I live abroad. Can the University process my visa?

The University cannot process visa applications, but we can provide you with a letter of invitation so that you can apply for one. 

• I live abroad. Can the University send me a letter of invitation to help me apply for my visa?

• I need an invitation letter for my companions so they can apply for a travel visa. How do I request this?

• What happens if I confirm my attendance but am ultimately unable to attend?

You can cancel your attendance using the tool we will provide.

• If I can’t attend, will the graduation stole be sent to me, or can I come and collect it?

No, they are given in person.

• What happens if I don’t confirm my attendance but turn up?

We recommend that, if you wish to attend, you register on the platform by the dates indicated. If you turn up on the day of the event without having registered in advance, you will only be able to enter the venue if there is space available because a confirmed participant has not turned up. This scenario is highly unlikely.
